MY TOP TIPS FOR GLUTE GROWTH 👇⁣ ⁣ “My glutes just won’t grow.” Let’s address some things...⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ FORM. Just because you do a hip thrust... doesn’t mean you’re targeting your glutes 👏 If your technique is off, you’ll most likely be recruiting other muscles and taking away from the efficiency of your training. Master your form first and foremost and focus on engagement. ⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ Lift. HEAVY. After you’ve gotten your form down, it’s time for the big basics. Powerful glutes aren’t built from jump squats and countless kick backs... my favourite exercises are barbell hip thrusts, hip hinges, glute bridges, RDL’s and squats. Always try and lift heavy but never sacrifice form for weight. 👌⁣ ⁣ 3️⃣ CALORIC SURPLUS. Girl, eat. Your glutes won’t grow if you continue to stay in a deficit because you’re afraid of gaining a few lbs. When was the last time you took some SOLID time in a caloric surplus and focused on building muscle? ⁣ ⁣ You want to grow? Eat.⁣ ⁣ 4️⃣ Consistency. I train my glutes 2-3 times per week. It’s taken YEARS of work to build my glutes to where they are, and I’m still not where I want to be. It’s easy to jump from program to program if you don’t see progress in 1 month but remember... progress takes TIME, patience and consistency. ⁣ ⁣ 5️⃣ Final point.... just HARD WORK 🍑
