Sometimes we get way too hard on ourselves. Me included. I beat myself up the last couple of days. Nope didn’t miss a meal, a cardio session, or lift. I just felt so watery and didn’t like how I looked one bit. It’s been a very trying 2 weeks with a lot of stress and anxiety. But I took a breathe and a step back and took a lot of videos and pics during my training session to show me reality, not what my mind thought I saw. And I actually was extremely happy.

Whenever you feel down on your physique think these three things. It helped me so much today.
.
.
1) Are you PMSing? I am close to cycle and my Fitbit reminded me so yep, that was part of it. Embrace holding water during that time. It’s HEALTHY.
.
.
2) Are you more stressed than normal? It happens, just stay on program and get as best of sleep as you can. It will normalize and you will be fine.
.
.
3) What’s the goal right now? Mine is to grow. The shreds is great but if I want to grow, I need to let my body do so. No up and down dieting, consistent dieting and let body adjust. And get STRONG.

Three of my staple pull day movements. 1️⃣ Single Arm Pulldown- slight supination here. Great activation exercise
2️⃣ Double Handle Seated Row : Don’t use that close grip attachment. Use 2 handles to increase range of motion and get elbows back more.
3️⃣ Single Arm Row- slight supination here, lower lat focus rowing to your hip.

I have bad body image days too. But remind yourself of reality and don’t expect perfection out of your body everyday. 😉
